Dr. Myron Wentz founded Usana in 1992 as a subsidiary of his first company, Gull Laboratories. Gull was established in 1974. While there, Wentz developed more than 30 different assays for infectious diseases. USANA manufactures its own products and does much of its own testing. Usana offers supplements spefically geared toward their primary benefit (i.e. the support of overall health, cardiovascular health, skeletal/structural health, digestive health, and a skin care program.
