Owned by NSA International, National Safety Associates, Inc. started out with one product; smoke alarms and detectors. The company gained notoriety in the early 1980's with its water filtration system and later in the 1990's with its air filtration systems. Under the guidance of company president Jay Martin, NSA has a manufacturing agreement with Natural Alternatives International, the sole producer of the Juice Plus+ product line. Juice Plus+ products are made from a variety of fruits and vegetables, and include chewables, capsules, gummies (for kids), and powdered drink mixes. The company also still sells air and water filtration systems.
