ACN, or American Communications Network, Inc., is a privately-held company that has been marketed long distance, internet, and utility services and products around the globe since 1993. ACN began US operations in January of 1993, expanded into Canada in June of 1997, and into the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Sweden in 1999. The company was founded by five entrepreneurs - President Greg Provenzano and Vice Presidents Mike Cupisz, Tony Cupisz, Robert Stevanovski and J. D. Sullivan. At its start up, ACN's primary carrier was LCI International. As of June of 1998, LCI was bought by Qwest Communications. Their marketing focus is to be a "full service" telecommunications company.
